Mahatma Gandhi B.Ed. College features a state-of-the-art Central Library designed to assist student learning, academic research, and reference needs.
The library is well-stocked with the latest editions of reference textbooks, syllabus-based books, national and international journals, and educational magazines. Our library is fully computerized using modern cataloging software, making book search and borrowing quick and transparent. We also provide a silent, air-conditioned reading room for students to focus on coursework and research projects.
To keep pace with virtual learning resources, we provide a dedicated e-Library terminal section within the main library building.
The e-Library consists of **10 computing workstations** connected to high-speed fiber internet. Students can access lakhs of e-books, research manuscripts, educational review papers, and learning resources through our DELNET library membership. To ensure a comfortable and disciplined study environment, all visitors must follow library guidelines.
Absolute silence must be observed inside the reading zones. Conversations and loud reading are strictly prohibited.
No food, snacks, or drinks (except water bottles) are allowed inside the main library catalog and stacks rooms.
Students can borrow up to **2 books** for a duration of **14 days**. Overdue returns are subject to a standard fine of **₹5 per day**.
