The **SC/ST Welfare Cell** is constituted as per the guidelines of UGC and the Ministry of Education, Government of India. The cell acts as a support system to address academic, personal, or administrative challenges faced by students belonging to Scheduled Castes (SC) and Scheduled Tribes (ST). It also guides candidates in securing state/central government scholarships and welfare benefits.

Key Objectives of the Cell:

• To prevent caste-based discrimination or harassment on campus.
• To monitor the execution of reservation rules during admissions.
• To assist SC/ST students in applying for post-matric scholarships.
• To conduct remedial classes and soft-skills guidance program to enhance employability.
